Thadria

A Brief History of Thadria

.In the first era, the Dimgall continent was watched over by the elves on the surface and the dwarves underground. Humans were present, but were little more than slightly smarter hairless apes. The elves saw potential in humans, and taught them many things, including written language. Eventually humans started to have kingdoms of their own, and easily outbred the elves over time. Still, the elves still had much power and magic inherent to them. They lived in relative harmony until the great lich Herragitul attempted to overthrow the kingdoms of Dimgall. For the next two-hundred years the two sides of good and evil fought, until a great hero defeated the lich once and for all. Some time after that, the human kingdoms went to war with one another, and that particular power struggle lasted over a thousand years. It finally ended when the Kingdom of Windsong allied with the King of the Elves, and had one last battle which ended in the near-destruction of what is now the Charred Finger of Thadria. Evils and different things seem to continue to find themselves into the world. And in present day, the humans and elves have a different version of history than the dwarves, who continue to struggle with the goblins inside the earth.
